About the Key Roles and Responsibilities:
The Deputy Manager in Finance and Accounts, play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliation, and monthly closure of books.
This role also involves contributing to the compilation of monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports.
Prepare financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
Monitor budget performance and provide insights to management on financial implications of operational decisions.
Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.
Streamline financial processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Review and validate allocated function in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit process and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns.
Assist in contract agreement formulation by validating clauses before finalization.
Coordinate with Points of Contact (POCs) to resolve discrepancies promptly.
Supervise and mentor finance team members, providing guidance, training, and support to foster professional growth and performance excellence.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to achieve financial objectives and resolve financial issues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and vendors.
Day to day fund management within inter companies and outside the Group.
