We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Head of Junior School – Wellbeing and Administration to support the Head of Junior School – Deputy Principal in the administration of the Junior School and pastoral care of its students.
This is a permanent, full-time position and will commence at the beginning of Term 1, 2025.
To secure this role, the successful applicant will have: Experience in integrating the principles of Positive Psychology to realise the vision for student wellbeing and a holistic approach to student care;The skills to ensure the ongoing implementation and development of the Positive Education curriculum and wellbeing initiatives in the Junior School;Enthusiasm for day-to-day operational management of a Junior School with a demonstrated solutions-focused and flexible approach to responding to needs as they arise;The ability to develop positive relationships and foster collaboration among teachers and key stakeholders;A genuine desire to work in a committed and professional team within the Christian ethos of the school;Qualification in Education and registration with NESA;Postgraduate qualification in Wellbeing, Positive Education or similar field;Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;Ability to work proactively and collaboratively within a team.To Apply: Please include a cover letter as the first page of your resume.
