The Deputy Director of Therapies will provide expert level strategic, clinical, and managerial leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of an interprofessional strategy.

About the Role This position will operationally manage local teams of Therapies and Allied Health Professional Leaders, Workforce Development Officers, and Service Integration Coordinators to implement and maintain service-wide strategies aligned to the MSAMHS Operational Plan, Allied Health Operational Plans, and Therapy Capability Framework strategies, and the Metro South Allied Health Operational and Strategic Plans and State-wide Allied Health Workforce strategies.
This position will develop highly effective internal and external partnerships to enable the delivery of innovative practice models for therapies, through the application of advanced communication skills and high-level ability to understand and meet stakeholder objectives.
Under the direction of the Director of Therapies and Allied Health, this role works collaboratively with MSAMHS Divisional and Clinical Directors, Community Directors, and Nursing Directors to support the strategic direction and vision for the service and interprofessional disciplines, under Metro South Health Service priorities.
