Deputy Director Infrastructure Works Coordination Canberra ACT The key duties of the position include: The Role You and your team will be responsible for deliverables including: Key interface for Defence Fuel Network Projects.
Supporting the strategic operations and configuration of the Defence Fuel Network (DFN) infrastructure, and overseeing management of the DFN status and proposed changes.
Liaison with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with and forward planning against Defence and other business requirements (including IT system developments, legislative and policy changes).
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, the ability to work under pressure, and the ability to lead a team in a high tempo environment.
About our Team Fuel Capability Branch's (FCB) has responsibility for operating, maintaining, governing, enhancing and sustaining the Defence Fuel Supply Chain (DFSC) across Australia and globally.
As part of Joint Logistics Command, we are responsible for end to end Defence fuel capability.
This includes: Fuel supply; Strategic asset management; Engineering services; Key strategic projects outlined in the National Defence Strategy; Fuel and fuel infrastructure specifications standards; Product procurement; Support the transition of military capabilities to renewable energies; Fuel capability; The DFSC and the Defence Fuel Network (DFN).
As an integrated and geographically dispersed team, our Vision is to safely fuel the force by delivering 0:1:100 - zero loss incidents and injuries, one safe, integrated resilient DFSC, and 100% deliveries in full and on time.
The branch workforce is a blend of APS, ADF, Reservist and contractors.

Security Clearance Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance of 'Negative Vetting 1'.
