Salary Range: $182,813 - $248,629
Reporting to the Director, Delivery (Central), the Deputy Director, Central Operations will oversee the day-to-day operations of the project, including managing Central wide reporting and analysis of technical project data, driving project governance requirements, and ensuring that the outputs of multi-disciplinary project teams are managed strategically and in a coordinated way.
The Deputy Director, Central Operations works with the Director, Delivery to develop and implement project plans, monitor progress and manage risk mitigation.
Additionally, this role collaborates with key stakeholders across various functional disciplines to ensure that all aspects of the project are aligned to project requirements and outcomes.
This role will provide strategic advice to the Delivery Director, Central and the Central Senior Leadership Team through a solutions-focused approach to achieve project objectives.
The Deputy Director, Central Operations will provide the successful incumbent with the opportunity to provide leadership and project management solutions that will benefit the constructability and usability of Victoria's largest road transport project to date.
About YouA degree in engineering, construction management or a related field is mandatory.Demonstrated ability to resolve potentially significant politically sensitive, industry relations, environmental and commercial risks associated with large scale infrastructure projects.Extensive experience and proven expertise in project delivery, especially related to major projects, PPPs and tunnelling.
Project management experience in the engineering construction, and operational aspects of major infrastructure projects.This opportunity is a 3 year fixed-term position.
It will be a requirement to travel and spend time at one or all our site offices.
