Contract Details:
3 year initial contract plus extension options.

Position Overview: The Program requires a Deputy Delivery Lead - Military Planning and Operations (MP&O) with experience translating complex customer requirements and constraints into high-performing, scalable enterprise ICT functional solutions, especially in large, complex organisations. The resource must have experience in the implementation of complex SAP S4HANA Military Planning and Operations domain within a Commonwealth environment. The resource must have demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the Australian Defence Military Planning and Operations domain, including the Defence ERP Program's drivers and requirements.
Responsibilities: The Deputy Delivery Lead - MP&O will support the Delivery Lead to be responsible for assurance and driving all aspects of the Tranche 1B and Tranche 3 (MP&O) within the related functional domain, enabling the Solution Delivery Lead to be successful in the delivery assurance of the ERP agreed solution scope, ensuring strategic alignment to Defence transformation objectives.
The resource is expected to support the Delivery Lead to govern and assure the organisational direction set by the Solution Delivery Lead by utilising their extensive ERP overall SAP functional domain experience, project management, and demonstrated skills, including application of appropriate ERP methodologies. The Delivery Lead will work within the Solution Delivery Leadership team environment and be responsive to various Solution Leadership directions.
Required Skills and Qualifications: 8+ years' experience and demonstrated skills in complex related or transferable functional domain ICT ERP SAP transformation across the suite of SAP applications facilitating analysis of business requirements and an ability to convert business requirements into SAP system requirements for configuration by the vendor. Minimum 8 years of proven team leadership experience, preferable across a range of SAP Solution Delivery Team Lead roles such as Project Management and Functional Team Leadership. Demonstrated deep understanding of SAP Best Practice business processes and optimised SAP solution design from an end user perspective, as well as understanding of best practice design and architecture that optimizes the end user experience. It is essential that this resource has worked extensively within the SAP functional domain and has strong communication skills enabling a clear description of the solution to key business stakeholders.
