Deputy Chief Medical Officer

We have an exceptional opportunity for a Deputy Chief Medical Officer to join our medical team.
As a member of our medical team, you will be delivering high-quality healthcare services to children and their families.
Job Locations: Big Springs Texas, Midland Texas, and Donna Texas.
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Participates in the development and implementation of training and educational programs.
Provides medical consultation as required.
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Requirements: Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) preferred or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) at a minimum.
Completion of a three (3) year residency program in emergency medicine, internal medicine, family practice, or pediatrics.
Advanced degrees in Master Public Health, Master Health Care Administration, Master Business Administration, Certified Physician Executive, or equivalent preferred.
Board Certification: Board certification in emergency medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, or family medicine (MD and DO).
Nurse Practitioners must have certification in their perspective specialty by the appropriate certifying organization (i.e., American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Credentialing Center) License: Must hold a current, full, and unrestricted medical or nurse practitioner license in one of the U.
S.
states, territories, commonwealths, or District of Columbia.
Experience : Eight (8)+ years of current experience in emergency medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, or family practice.
Minimum of three (3)+ years of current, demonstrated management/supervisory experience.
Certifications : Must hold applicable certification according to requirements for specialties - Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are preferred.
MUST have previous experience working with and be comfortable with young children and adolescents' medical, behavioral, and social needs.
