About the role The Deputy Chief Information Officer:
Is responsible for providing strategic leadership in planning, developing, implementing, and managing information systems within the Department of Health.Leads well over 100 staff in the Digital Technology Services Group (DTSG) to ensure smooth support and operation of information systems and technologies across the state, encompassing internal and external ICT services.Builds effective business partnerships for the Health ICT Division, negotiating strategic requirements, and managing relationships with stakeholders to achieve positive cultural and business results.Develops and manages the operational components of the Health ICT budget efficiently and cost-effectively, ensuring resources are allocated to support business objectives.About you If you have exceptional qualities in leadership, collaboration, communication, and stakeholder engagement and can evidence a strong track record of success in championing strategic initiatives then this is a career defining opportunity not to be missed.
Adesirable requirement of the role isrelevant IT industry experience, a tertiary qualification in accounting and a Current Driver's Licence.

About the Team Health ICT provides business technology leadership for the Department and leads the broad IT and information function to achieve and support business objectives and provide optimal customer experience. We provide strategic leadership in the planning, development, implementation, and management of both clinical and non-clinical information systems, and information and communication technologies to enable the delivery of safe, effective, and high quality integrated patient and client care
Across the Department, the teams and people within the Digital Technology Services Group provide strategic and business advice, deliver support services across a wide range of systems and functions, maintain and develop ICT infrastructure, and support Programs and Projects.
Appointment The role is a Senior Executive office for a contract period of 5 years and offers an attractive remuneration package, which incorporates salary ranging from $173,328 to $190,558 p.a. plus 11% superannuation and private use of a fully maintained vehicle.
