Your new role
As the EL1 Deputy Chief Financial Officer, you will manage various finance functions, including:
Advising on procurement activities and confirming fund availability.
Reviewing and improving processes, systems, and delegations.
Enhancing the acquittal process for credit card and travel accounts.
Drafting financial governance documents in line with Whole of Government (WoG) requirements.
Contributing to Financial Statements and Budget submissions.
Developing and delivering finance training across the organisation.
Managing a busy inbox and responding to queries.
Advising on budgets and accounting requirements at month and year-end.
Performing other finance-related duties as required.
This role is available as a non-ongoing or temporary transfer, with part-time working arrangements considered.
