As our deadly Deputy CEO (DCEO) you will report directly to our CEO and will work closely with our Executive Management Team and Board to provide strong leadership as we work to achieve our strategic and operational goals.

What You Will Focus OnYou will oversee the implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting against the DDHS Strategic Plan.
You will also provide operational leadership for a range of new initiatives due to begin in 2025.
Your responsibilities include:
Leadership, line management and development of new business, including strategic priority areas, ensuring sustainability, integration, adherence to best practice, efficiency and compliance.Develop and implement an evaluation framework to ensure all services are routinely evaluated, and regular stakeholder surveys are undertaken and acted upon.Develop and strengthen stakeholder relationships and partnerships with DDHS and with key external stakeholders, including government, funding bodies, media, service partners, sector networks and forums and the community.Create, implement and maintain high quality and service performance standards and develop systems to build key relationships and improve operational efficiency.What You Need to SucceedTertiary qualifications in management, social services, business, health, or similar discipline.Demonstrated strategic leadership skills at a senior level with a track record in effectively managing change, organisational resources, new business opportunities, and projects.Highly developed skills in relationship management, communication, negotiation and conflict resolution with the ability to work constructively with people from a wide range of cultural and social backgrounds and multidisciplinary teams.Knowledge of State/Territory and Federal Government agencies and funding arrangements and proven experience in managing funded programs.To work with DDHS you must hold, or be willing to obtain: A current police check.A valid NT working with children's card.A current CPR certificate.Full vaccination against COVID-19, or an exemption as listed on the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR).Employment with us is subject to: Willing to undergo a Police Check.Ability and willingness to obtain a Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).Current CPR certificate or the preparedness to gain one within 6 months of commencement.Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or an exemption as listed on the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) be submitted.Full rights to work in Australia.Danila Dilba offers employees: 6 weeks annual leave.5 days paid leave during end-of-year shut down (additional to annual leave).Salary packaging up to $15,990 per annum.
