Depth Industries | Truck Drivers - Heavy Haulage

Details of the offer

Depth Logistics is seeking experienced heavy haulage truck drivers to join our growing team at our newly established East Arm, Darwin cargo terminal.
If you are a Darwin-based transport professional, we are offering an immediate start and industry-leading rates along with brand new or near-new equipment. Flexibility is a must. If you love variety, operating different equipment with different operational requirements almost every day, then this role is for you.
We operate a young fleet with brand new Kenworth prime movers being delivered progressively to primarily serve Northern Territory operations for government-related supply chains. There are occasional trips away as we expand operations beyond Queensland, Northern Territory, and Western Australia.
About you: You must have an MC unconditional licence with experience in drop deck and/or low loader operations. A dangerous goods drivers licence would be well regarded but not essential. You must possess an MSIC card or have the ability to obtain one for wharf deliveries. You must be able to achieve an Australian Dept of Defence security clearance if required. A strong focus on safety, security & confidentiality is required. Clear understanding of all load restraint applications associated with heavy industry and heavy vehicle movements. You must have good customer relationship skills. Ability to work autonomously in remote areas from time to time. Fatigue Management Course highly regarded. The successful candidate must present an NT licence check and advise remaining points held.
Candidates with defence and/or defence industry backgrounds would be highly regarded.
For more information about working for the company, please search "Depth Logistics Careers".
Your application will include the following questions:
Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia? How many years' experience do you have as a truck driver? Do you have a current Dangerous Goods drivers licence? Do you hold a current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)? Do you have experience working with logistics, freight & delivery services? Are you willing to provide a copy of your driving record history? Do you have experience in a role which requires relationship management experience? #J-18808-Ljbffr
