Our operations span the entire country and the entire fuel value chain: a crude oil refinery, two import terminals, a growing bulk delivery fleet, on-road and on-airport unmanned refuelling networks, infrastructure manufacturing, and proprietary fuel management technology.Approaching each day through our values of Innovation: finding solutions, Our Communities: serving people, and Reliability: getting results, our team is focused on delivering what really matters to our customers.About the roleThe Depot Operations & Inventory Manager will be responsible for the management of the Lytton warehouse, while supporting the IOR HyBlue manufacturing and depot network relating to all operations and inventory aspects.
Ensure the depot's product range meets local demand to maximize sales growth.
The role will oversee the stocktaking process, IOR nominated systems support, warehousing training, and the management of depot capital projects.
This role will be based at IOR's depot in Lytton.Lead and manage all operational activities at the Radar St warehouse, overseeing inventory management of HyBlue dry stock and specialty packaged products, including stock ordering, allocation, and stocktake processes.Drive operational excellence initiatives, manage depot capital projects, and mentor depot teams on inventory systems, warehousing practices, and safety compliance.Collaborate with customer service, segment managers, and sales teams to optimize specialty product sales, improve fleet utilization, and meet customer demands efficiently.Oversee HSE operations across depots, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and managing reporting into IOR's reporting system, while closing incidents within required timeframes.Manage cross-functional collaboration with finance, logistics, and other departments to optimize operations, improve service levels, and drive growth in sales, profitability, and distribution.About youManagement experience in distribution, warehousing, or supply chain, with expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, and P&L responsibilities.Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to warehousing and distribution, with experience in managing remote teams.Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software, combined with strong analytical skills to optimize operations and performance metrics.Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with company goals, with excellent organizational, multitasking, and team leadership skills.Demonstrated success in driving growth in sales, profitability, and distribution in a multi-site environment, with expertise in cross-department collaboration and operational improvements.Why IOR?IOR is proudly different.
