We respond to change with integrity and innovation, ensuring our customers receive performance and reliability from our products and services.Role Overview:You will serve as the functional lead for managing safety support, compliance, and performance in operational delivery of filling and testing across Elgas Queensland. This includes the delivery of national projects in the field (e.g., Cylinder tracking and reverse billing) and liaising with functional support (e.g., maintenance and technical teams) to deliver performance.The ultimate goal is to ensure safe, compliant operations while meeting our customer promise and performance metrics, including cost control.Additional Responsibilities:Drive compliance and best practice safety and operational performance across Elgas Queensland.Provide leadership and ensure compliance with Major Hazards Facilities requirements for Elgas' Lytton and Pinkenba sites.Lead local and national operational projects to deliver a step change in safety and operational performance.Recruit, train, develop, and motivate the Elgas QLD operational team to achieve required business performance.Skills and Experience Required:Depot/operations management with cost accountability.Understanding of OH&S legislation and QLD Petroleum & Gas Act.Tertiary or trade qualification in engineering, technical, or operations management.Experience in managing relationships with regulators and external stakeholders.5+ years in LPG/Petroleum Industry/Dangerous Goods or Multi-Site Management.Demonstrated experience in cost management is advantageous.Major Hazards Facility experience is highly desirable.Why You Will Love Working With Us:Elgas offers a diverse range of employment opportunities for outstanding team players, including the possibility of career advancement with BOC and the global Linde Group.
