Discover the Opportunity…. Opal Fibre Packaging provides a full service offering in corrugated cardboard box packaging. We have an exciting opportunity for a Depot Customer Service Representative to join the team at our site in Caloundra on a casual basis 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) with the view to move to permanent full-time employment.
The key focus of this role will be to:
Manage the order process including receiving stock and processing orders into the system.Provide support to the site supervisor.Receipt stock into the depot and arrange stock transfers as required.Organize deliveries with different stakeholders including customers and freight companies.Initiate calls with customers to confirm their stock requirements, also managing returns (identifying the issues and making suggestions for improvement).Manage data entry activities for stock takes.Raise invoices and receive payments from customers.We can offer a varied career journey with experiential learning gained from cross-functional and lateral moves. For this role we would ideally like you to have:
High standard in written and verbal communication.Good time management and organizational skills.Not afraid to ask for help or seek advice.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to carry out some manual tasks.Experience in inventory control, pallet control, and using SAP would be highly regarded.Applications are open to both internal and external candidates.
