Directors - Commercial, Procurement and Strategic Contracting We are currently seeking experienced Directors in commercial, procurement and strategic contracting at The Department of Treasury and Finance in long term contracts.

The Commercial and Procurement Branch is the government's lead advisor on commercial strategies, specialist procurement, and strategic contracting. In partnership with Departments, the Branch leads the assessment and management of commercial projects, uplifts the capability across government, implements and manages modern systems, oversees and supports major projects, and leads strategic procurement.
About the opportunities The Commercial and Procurement Branch is seeking multiple Directors for the new branch to lead high performing teams responsible for strategic analysis and advice on commercial projects, partnering with public authorities to deliver major projects, designing and managing strategic procurement, and negotiating complex contracts.

About you To be successful, you will have:
Significant experience in one of the related fields of commercial projects, infrastructure projects, strategic sourcing, and/or complex contract negotiations. Demonstrated commercial acumen in a large and complex organisation. Demonstrated ability to analyse and conceptualise problems, formulate and execute appropriate solutions, and negotiate successful outcomes in an innovative and resourceful manner. Significant experience in developing and leading high-performing teams. Demonstrated experience in developing partnerships with various stakeholders, including across industry sectors.
