The Regional Operations team (Passenger Transport Integration, Translink) have an exciting Permanent, Full-Time opportunity available in Rockhampton or Mackay. One role available with preferred location of the applicant.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Manager to lead the delivery of passenger and school transport services across Queensland. In this strategic leadership role, you will manage operations, build team capabilities and drive service improvements in the region.
Key Responsibilities Lead teams to successfully deliver passenger and school transport services across the region. Develop and empower team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and communication. Manage a portfolio of passenger transport service contracts, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Act as the regulatory authority, offering guidance and advice to stakeholders, industry professionals, and customers. Cultivate strong partnerships with local stakeholders, transport operators and other agencies to develop regional transport solutions. Work with the Regional Leadership Team to ensure consistent delivery of policies, procedures, and performance across Queensland. Oversee the management and reporting of significant events, including natural disasters and other emergencies, ensuring a coordinated response. About You
You will be an experienced leader with a proven track record of managing teams and projects and possess a strong understanding of transport services and are adept at navigating complex issues.

Demonstrates a forward-thinking approach, translating strategy into action. Is committed to governance and delivering high-quality service in a highly regulated environment. Mandatory Requirements Current C class driver's licence. Criminal history check will be conducted prior to appointment. Willingness to travel regularly within the state.
