RoadTek is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to support our Sunshine Coast team on a temporary basis. This interesting position will provide high level procurement advice aligning to the Queensland Procurement Policy and Departmental Purchasing Procedures. You will also identify risks of non-adherence to procurement policies and procedures and identify opportunities for procurement efficiencies. Together with management, you will implement RoadTek specific procurement improvement projects.
RoadTek is a commercial business within the Department of Transport and Main Roads. We provide transport infrastructure solutions for projects across Queensland. Mandatory Qualifications And Conditions Valid Queensland 'C' class driver's license or equivalent. You may be required to travel to other locations to undertake activities for varying periods of time. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel. Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate: A thorough understanding of procurement policies, processes, and procurement planning which contribute to tactical procurement activities. A recognition of how own work directly contributes to the organisation's vision and community outcomes. Prioritisation of projects and tasks efficiently, in line with team commitments. The ability to communicate in a clear, succinct, and deliberate manner, adjusting the message so that it resonates with different stakeholders.
