About the opportunity
Are you a strategic thinker who is motivated by delivery of positive economic and community outcomes and is passionate about evidence-based decision-making and stakeholder engagement?
The Pilbara Development Commission is responsible for a project portfolio that requires experience and expertise in promoting local job creation, new industry development, economic research and the design and delivery of tertiary education.
The Commission is looking for a Senior Regional Development Officer to play a key role in driving economic growth and shaping the future of our region.
In this position, you'll combine your expertise in project delivery and strong analytical skills with an emphasis on building and managing relationships across government, industry, business, community and Aboriginal organisations.
There is currently one (1) permanent position available for immediate filling.
Other opportunities for permanent and fixed term appointments from the pool may arise in 2025.
We are looking for individuals with:
Experience in project delivery Experience undertaking analysis to inform decision makers, including monitoring and evaluation of the impact of development initiatives Experience in regional development, community engagement, and/or related areas Excellent skills in written and verbal communication and relationship building If you have a passion for building connections, driving regional development, and delivering diverse projects, we want to hear from you!

Am I eligible to apply?
