$140,703 to $150,200 pro rata, per annum + super
As Project Manager, you will lead, develop and manage the introduction of a new Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Protection Act and other proposed legislative reform as required. This new Act will replace the Aboriginal Heritage Act 1975 and is a strategic commitment of the Government.
You will report directly to the Director of Aboriginal Heritage Tasmania and work with a small team to deliver the project.
Our ideal candidate has High level knowledge and expertise in strategic policy, legislation and major projects within government. Experience with cabinet and parliamentary processes and public consultation. Demonstrated leadership and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with Aboriginal people, organisations and other key stakeholders.
