You will be responsible for providing high level and confidential administration support and coordination activities for senior executives or judicial officers and tribunal members in QCAT.
Key Responsibilities Provide effective and efficient confidential administrative and secretarial support with a high level of accuracy. Provide timely and efficient diary and meeting preparation and management in a fast-paced and pressurised environment. Provide documentation services including typing/transcribing decisions and reasons, photocopying and collating legislation. Coordinate travel arrangements as required. Liaise with QCAT registry staff, QCAT judicial officers and tribunal decision-makers, officers from other departments, and community and professional groups in a positive and professional manner. Exercise judgment and initiative in decision-making, proactively identifying and acting on potential problems. Respond to enquiries in a professional and positive manner with the ability to be tactful, discrete and maintain confidentiality when dealing with matters of a sensitive nature. Examine and onforward incoming correspondence to determine appropriate action. Establish and maintain filing, databases, and records management in accordance with best practice and protocols. Develop processes to ensure the smooth running of the office. Coordinate issues by allocating to the right person in QCAT, monitor progress and follow up to ensure meaningful responses are developed within timeframes. Demonstrate high level client service standards in compliance with policies, procedures and protocols. Undertake other administrative duties as required to support the delivery of QCAT's services. ** This vacancy may be used to fill similar roles on a temporary basis.** Applications to remain current for 12 months.
