Manager - Scheduling Risk and Performance (530910) The Manager - Scheduling, Risk, and Performance will play a critical role in driving the success of the Department of Health's Digital Health Transformation Program. Reporting to and supporting the Senior Manager, this role is responsible for managing governance and policy activities for the program while providing expert leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the Scheduling, Risk, and Performance Team. The Manager will also deliver specialist expertise and strategic advice to the Senior Manager, particularly in strategic planning, risk identification and management, team development, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards.
You will need:
Demonstrated project management knowledge, including experience and understanding of quality assurance, risk management, resource management, reporting, governance, and common project documentation. Proven ability to deliver high level program and project governance coordination and advice, together with the ability to develop policy recommendations tailored to a diverse audience. Proven leadership skills and capability in supporting a positive team culture, including identifying and developing team members' skills and competencies, resolving conflicts, and promoting collaboration. High level strategic, conceptual, and analytical skills, including the ability to understand and make sound judgements on operational and strategic service delivery. Strong communication and liaison skills, both internal and external to the Department, including demonstrated experience in maintaining productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The Scheduling, Risk, and Performance (SRP) Team plays a pivotal role in Department of Health's Digital Health Transformation Program, supporting its mission to empower consumers and healthcare professionals through digitally enabled technologies. The team delivers centralised program and portfolio management services, including governance, human resource coordination, budget oversight, scheduling, and risk management.
Details of appointment:
Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of approximately two (2) years.
Salary: $124,371 to $130,905 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
