We're looking for a passionate and motivated Dietitian to join our dynamic team on the stunning North West Coast.
The Team: The North West Nutrition and Dietetic Department provides an acute, clinical service to a diverse range of people from birth to end of life who experience conditions requiring nutritional intervention.
We are looking for a Dietitian to fill a junior inpatient vacancy at the North West Regional Hospital in Burnie; you will work as part of a supportive team to manage your own inpatient caseload at the hospital and there will be opportunity to shadow the more experienced Senior Dietitians as they manage some of the more complex cases.

The Role: As an effective member of multidisciplinary teams, the Dietitian:
Provides a professional clinical dietetic service to patients within the allocated clinical workload in accordance with organisational Policies, Best Practice Standards and the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) Code of Conduct.
Contributes to the overall functioning of the Nutrition and Dietetic Service and other health teams and engages positively in the ongoing development of existing and new services.
Details of appointment: Fixed term, full time, day worker, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from January 2025 until June 2025.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Minimum Requirements: Tertiary qualification/program of study accredited by Dietitians Australia or overseas qualified dietitians will be required to complete Dietetic Skills Recognition (DSR) through Dietitians Australia.
Holds, or is eligible for, full membership with Dietitians Australia.
Eligible to join the Accredited Practising Dietitian Program.
