EL 1 - Australian Defence Logistics College Deputy Director Training $115,899 - $130,733 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Campbell Park - ACT The Role
The Australian Defence Logistics College (ADLC) Deputy Director Training requires a highly experienced and dedicated professional who will:
Support the strategic direction of the ADLC through collaboration and liaison across Defence training initiatives including engagement with Defence and Service Schools.
Assist with the implementation of the Learning and Development Governance Framework through the conduct of local audits and reviews of training delivered through the ADLC.
Provide oversight and guidance of learning outcomes required for Joint Logistics Command (JLC), establishing and sustaining productive relationships with key internal stakeholders across the Defence Logistics Enterprise.
Management of quality frameworks ensuring the reporting and coordination of activities meets requirements.
Guide and mentor others on the more complex aspects of the learning and development function.
Assist the Director with high-level engagement and design activities and represent ADLC at working level Defence and other forums.

Joint Logistics Command (JLC) established the Australian Defence Logistics College (ADLC) in 2022 to train our logistics personnel across Defence.
Consistent with the principle of One Defence and joint-by-design, the ADLC is an innovative approach providing a coordinated and overarching training governance structure for Logistics Training.
Our vision is to provide world class education to the Australian Defence Force, civilian and industry personnel through a range of knowledge rich courses to align with both career pathways and the needs of our workforce.
The team performs complex learning and development work while ensuring compliance with legislative frameworks and policies.
You will collaborate closely with your team, sharing knowledge and contributing to team objectives.

Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate expertise and experience in:Leading and applying training frameworks to enhance learning and development outcomes across multiple management sectors.
Ensuring organisational adherence to compliance and quality requirements for business management systems aligned to international standards (ISO-9001).
Developing and reviewing technical reports supporting the evaluation of training and business audits, delivery of learning and development activities and business management system and quality requirements.
Ability to interpret and provide advice on the Defence training systems, policies and procedures for the ADLC.
Providing practical business solutions to maintain and promote quality and compliance standards.
Actively managing stakeholder relationships through effective communication, collaboration and influence.
Proven ability to lead and mentor multi-disciplinary teams in complex environments with sound written and verbal communications skills.
Fostering a positive team culture where business continuous improvement is adopted.
Applying sound judgement and contemporary attitude to achieve outcomes.
