Electrical / Department Manager – £60-64k + Quarterly Bonus Scheme (up to 13% of salary) + 10% Employer Pension Contribution + Private Medical = £70-75k package Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Department Manager with a strong background in Electrical engineering to a join a globally recognised manufacturing company with a large site in the Deeside / Chester area, who will have responsibility spanning all electrical engineering on the plant.
Key aspects of the Electrical Manager role include –
Provide first class level of engineering expertise and to maintain electrical equipment capability for the site, including responsibility for the shift-based Automation Technicians, Electrical Maintenance Engineers and HV Engineering teams.Electrical Manager will lead and drive the safety performance of the teamIdentify and develop relationships with key external contract labour support servicesSuccessful Electrical Manager will have knowledge of Root Cause Analysis tools and strategic maintenance processesIdentify and implement design/development opportunities to improve plant reliability and availability and improve product qualityProvide engineering support for the implementation of capital schemesAuthorise, monitor and control expenditure on goods and services within the annual maintenance budgetFacilitate and lead development of all elements of the Company Asset Management FrameworkLiaise with Site Development and Engineering as required to maintain team performanceIdentify and implement opportunities to improve cost effectiveness via effective downshift planning and executionEnsure personnel are properly trained and succession plans in placeAll applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorshipThe company is committed to the training and development of team members.
