About the role:
We have some exciting leadership opportunities available for a Department Manager to join our team across our Dubbo Store to contribute to our ongoing success.

As a Department Manager, you will have the very meaningful job of leading the day-to-day store operations, ensuring your team build memorable experiences and making your customers D.I.Y.
projects a reality.
Your store will be your pride and joy – you'll use visual merchandising to your best advantage, aligning this to store marketing plans.

What's involved:
Support the store leadership team Set an example of best service and encourage, empower and support the team to deliver friendly and helpful advice to customers Coach the team on the right service behaviours Assist with inducting and training the team Ensure that merchandising standards fit with business requirements Coordinate stock You'll need:
Experience supervising and leading customer facing teams in a high safety and high compliance environment Strong analytical skills A passion for customer service Ability to coach and develop others, providing feedback and getting the best out of a team An ability to achieve results and standards by working with your team Open communication style Be approachable and confident when interacting with customers Have an eagerness to learn about new products To be on your feet assisting with customers across a wide range of retail hours You'll be part of a workplace where you'll feel like you belong.
