The Opportunity Join the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) Directorate and make an impact by enhancing systems, processes, and organisational practices.
In this role, you'll:
Investigating Business Needs: Conduct thorough research and analyse workflows to determine requirements and recommend effective business processes. Lead Improvements: Drive enhancements in information systems, management practices, and organisational procedures. Drive Results: Coordinate user acceptance testing and evaluate project feasibility to guarantee successful implementations. Stakeholder Collaboration: Identify stakeholder needs and ensure their alignment with business objectives. Business Case Preparation: Develop compelling cases and recommend improvements for review by senior managers.

About You To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
Analytical Expertise: Skilled at evaluating complex information, providing expert advice, and delivering clear recommendations under tight deadlines. Strategic Planning: Experienced in scoping, defining, and prioritizing requirements for large initiatives, collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Independent & Collaborative: Capable of working both independently and in teams, managing tasks and risks to meet deadlines with informed decision-making. Change & Risk Management: Driven to implement change, manage risks, and deliver innovative solutions with urgency and accountability. Exceptional Communication: Clear and tactful communicator, skilled at resolving conflicts and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications/Experience Tertiary qualifications in business/analytics/IT or comparative equivalent experience.
Special Conditions A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, which must be renewed every three years.

Remuneration $85,790 to $95,413 pa (ASO5) + superannuation
