About the Opportunity: Our Fixed Teeth Australia business in Victoria is rapidly growing with two purpose-built dedicated full arch clinics in Melbourne & Ballarat. We are now searching for a permanent and reasonably experienced general dental surgeon who can lead and manage our successful, established, and growing Ballarat clinic to new heights.
This role suits an experienced general dental surgeon who wants to take their dentistry career to the next level at an already successful clinic. While we largely focus on full arch and dental implants, there is also an opportunity to expand and capitalize on your existing cosmetic dentistry skills in the Ballarat region.
A big part of this opportunity means we will train and mentor you to clinical and business success along with the opportunity to become an equity partner in the business.
Key role responsibilities include: Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their suitability for dental implants, considering factors like jawbone health, medical history, and desired outcomes.Develop individualized treatment plans, including determining the number, type, and placement of implants for full arch treatment.Perform surgical procedures to place dental implants in the jawbone, utilizing advanced surgical techniques and tools.Collaborate with other dentists to ensure proper integration of implants and creation of crowns or dentures for optimal function and aesthetics.Ability to perform the prosthetic parts of the full arch treatment concept.Prescribe and monitor medication, including antibiotics and pain medication, for post-operative care.Provide clear instructions for post-surgical care and monitor patients' healing progress.Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.Stay up to date on the latest advancements in dental implant technology and surgical techniques.Be an integral part of the FTA Victorian business and leadership team to drive clinic and commercial success.About Ballarat and who this opportunity suits: Ballarat is Victoria's largest inland city, just 75 minutes west of Melbourne, and is a melting pot of art, culture, food, wine, and attractions set against an iconic heritage backdrop.
