About this role We have an immediate vacancy for 1 Permanent Full Time Dental Therapist in the Katanning Mobile Dental Clinic. The successful Dental Therapist will provide routine dental care for enrolled children in our School Dental Therapy Centres. Duties also include, but are not limited to provision and preventive oral health services to children and provide oral health education to individuals, schools and community groups.  Location This position is based in Katanning whilst clinic locations also include: Dumbleyung, Gnowangerup, Kojonup, Nyabing, Ongerup and Tambellup. A Government vehicle will be provided for travel between Katanning and certain towns. If a Government vehicle is not available, a travel allowance is claimable for the use of your personal vehicle for certain travel between clinic locations. Located 277km south-east of Perth, Katanning is a small town in the Great Southern region. An important centre on the Great Southern railway to Albany, Katanning is rich in history all connected to the natural surroundings. It is a landscape full of contrasts from the yellow canola field to the salmon gum trees, to the pastel pink lakes. Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract. This position is subject to a Western Australian Working With Children (WWC) Check.
