About the role:
A vacancy exists for a highly motivated Dental Officer with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care.
This position would suit a recent graduate who must have at least two years of current clinical experience in Dentistry. The position is part-time, 2 days per week (16 hours) (Mondays & Fridays) and is for a 12-month contract only.

Selection Criteria:
• Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia
• Must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
• A recent graduate from a dental faculty with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• Experience in general restorative dentistry and in minor oral surgery
• Effective written, verbal and computer skills
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team
• Detailed knowledge of infection control procedures and demonstrated capability in patient assessment, clinical skills and adult oral health education
• Knowledge of quality improvement principles
