This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full time & Fixed Term Part Time appointments with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.  Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2024.  Applications in the pool will only be considered for the following positions; Hedland, Carnarvon, Derby and Geraldton (00000139, 00000471, 00000734, 00000159, 00007935) About this role The Dental Officer provides routine and advanced levels of care within rural clinics, including outreach programmes. This role involves examination, investigation, treatment planning and treatment of patients. 
This role reports to the Dentist-in-Charge.

We are seeking Dental Officers with well-developed communication skills, who thrive working as part of a small team to deliver high quality oral healthcare, including education.

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
