Dental Hygienist / TherapistA great opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist to join our family-run practice - Greenacre Orthodontics!Over the last year, we have introduced a hygiene service to help support our orthodontic patients and their family members. There is also an element of direct access. This service has proved to be extremely popular, and we are now looking to expand the service further. You will have the assistance of a dental nurse.The practice is located a 20-minute drive from the centre of Chester or an 8-minute train journey from Chester train station to our nearest station (an 8-minute walk from the practice)! There is free, on-site parking for staff, we have a team member of the month award, team-building events, and several practice social events in the calendar year, including evenings out.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough dental hygiene therapy and examinations to assess patients' oral health.Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.Provide appropriate hygiene and therapy treatment to a very high standard.Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments and observations.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice.Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.SkillsStrong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and work well as part of the dental team.Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.What We Can Offer You:A happy, friendly, and dedicated working environment.A friendly and well-organised team of orthodontists, orthodontic therapists, dental therapists/hygienists, dental nurses, and receptionists/administrators.On-going training (including funded courses and qualifications).Career development - Greenacre Orthodontics is an accredited North Wales Training Academy practice.
