The Role This is an exciting opportunity to manage our highly rated dental centre in Maroubra. As a Dental Coordinator, you will be responsible for the ongoing success of the dental practice and will have the opportunity to grow as a leader.
The Responsibilities Manage the efficient running of day-to-day operations of the dental centreSupport dentists at the centre and lead a team of dental assistantsImplement initiatives to improve customer service and patient retentionUphold high levels of customer service and ensure excellence in patient careProactively and efficiently book patient appointments, collect money owing, order supplies and coordinate logistics for lab workFollow-up with patients on appointments and make post treatment care callsBuild a rapport with patients and dentists. Manage any concerns in a timely and respectful mannerWork within the approved budget and implements cost-saving measuresMaintain infection control and WHS requirements for the dental centreInterview and select exceptional candidates to join the team, when requiredEnsure the dental business maintains its accreditation and adheres to the quality management frameworkMaintain the front-office in a neat and presentable manner.Escalate repair and maintenance issues with applicable centre support team members (including technology, facilities etc.)Actively participate in internal initiatives and team challengesMost importantly, be the glue that holds the centre togetherAbout you A team player who is friendly, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with a customer-first attitude driven by kindness, integrity, and respect.
