Job DescriptionAs the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in establishing a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
A typical day will see you assisting our patients with their enquiries (both over the phone and in person), generating and confirming appointment bookings for our dentists as well as patient recalls, typing, completing payment processing, banking, and other ad hoc administrative duties as required.
You will support our highly experienced team of clinicians with various interesting dental procedures during patient appointments. You will also take responsibility for instrument sterilisation, infection control and stock control. Working beside experienced Dentists will give you a great insight into our practice and a rare opportunity to learn from one of the best.
Key Responsibilities: Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.Provide a high level of customer service at our reception desk, processing payments and health insurance claims, booking appointments and other administrative tasks as required.Take on a variety of tasks across different functions, demonstrating versatility and an ability to manage multiple responsibilities.QualificationsMust be willing to work some late nights as well as occasional Saturdays.Previous experience as a Dental Assistant and Steri (minimum 1 year of experience).Certificate III in Dental Assisting is preferred, but not required.Experience in reception is an advantage, but willing to train the right candidate.Proficiency in dental software.Strong problem-solving abilities with a flexible and adaptable mindset.Ability to multitask and manage time effectively across various tasks and priorities.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.Demonstrated experience in a variety of roles or functions, showing a broad range of competencies.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a team-oriented approach.A self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and take on unfamiliar tasks when necessary.What We Offer:An Excellent Place to Work:A fun, engaging, and supportive workplace where you'll look forward to coming in every day.Great Team Spirit:Join a team that's more like a family, where everyone pitches in and supports each other.Positive Work Culture:A workplace that values your contributions, encourages your ideas, and supports your growth.Supportive Management:Leaders who are dedicated to your professional development and personal wellbeing.Innovative Industry:Be part of an organization that's always looking to improve and innovate in everything we do.Ready to make a significant impact on your career?
