Shumack Dental is looking for friendly, caring and positive Dental Assistants to join our expanding team.
Experience will get preference, however, not essential.
We are more than happy to provide full training to the right candidate/s who have a genuine interest in working in Oral Health and who would be a great fit for our team.

What you'll be doing
Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and performing other chairside duties Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies Greeting patients, checking them in, and ensuring a positive experience Updating and maintaining patient records Providing oral hygiene instruction and education to patients Performing minor administrative tasks as required What we're looking for
Certificate III in Dental Assisting desired but not essential Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients of all ages Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilisation Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team Enthusiasm for the dental industry and a genuine desire to provide outstanding patient care What we offer

We have permanent full-time positions working on a 9 day fortnight roster and permanent part-time positions working a minimum of 2 days a week (Monday and Friday) available.
We also have casual positions available as well.
