About the position:
Sale Street Dental located in the heart of Orange is expanding their team and looking for a trainee or experience Dental Assistant to join on a part time basis. We are open 8:30am to 6pm and you would be required to be available during those hours.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:Assist with patient management, including greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, and ensuring their comfort.
Clinical Support:Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, and maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
Inventory Management:Monitor dental supplies levels, ensuring the treatment room is well-stocked and organised.
Patient Education:Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and educate them about oral hygiene and preventive care.
Team Collaboration:Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.
Compliance:Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.

What do you need to succeed:
Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is essential
A Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Capability to address patient concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
Attention to detail
