Job DescriptionAbout the role As a key member of the ATSICHS Brisbane team, the Dental Assistant will support dental care delivery by preparing treatment room, reprocessing instruments, supporting patients through the procedure, providing adequate evacuation of oral fluids and retraction of soft tissues, preparation and passing of materials and instruments, and performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Act. This role includes activities involving in CQI, contributing to policy implementation, audits and reporting of clinical incidents. Support fellow staff in a team environment to build collegiality and a sense of belongingness within the team and ATSICHS family. Staff will actively participate in team activities and contribute to a flourishing workplace culture that promotes the ethos and values of ATSICHS Brisbane as a long-standing Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation.
