An exciting opportunity exists within South Eastern Sydney Local Health District for an experienced Dental Assistant Grade 1 to join our professional multi-sited, multi-disciplinary Oral Health team. The Dental Assistant will provide clinical support and assist with the efficient delivery of a high quality Oral Health service to eligible clients in South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. Selection Criteria Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent recognised by the Dental Assistant Education Council of Australia or significant experience as a Dental Assistant and willingness to complete the Certificate III qualification. Demonstrated knowledge of current infection control principles and practices. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters, commensurate with years of experience. Demonstrated computer skills. Ability and willingness to travel for work purposes within SESLHD.
