Demolition Estimator

Bellaluca Demolition is now hiring an Estimator to help our growing business.
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic staff member that wishes to learn and grow with our company as we service Perth Metropolitan and Regional WA.
Primary Purpose Prepare and coordinate tender documents for new projects, including but not limited to contract pricing preparations, tender site visits, meeting with clients, presenting, and reviewing tender proposals while working closely with the Director.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities Prepare tender pricing, including rating of any Bill of Quantities, prepare cost estimates and variation costing.Liaise with specific tender clientele and possibly external suppliers to obtain pricing.Complete site investigations across WA to fully understand the scope of works, ensuring appropriate production factors are used in the estimate.Submission of final tender documents in collaboration with the Director as well as following up on all submissions.Qualifications, Experience and Advantages Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar.Experience of 2-3 years in an estimating or similar role.Estimator with experience using MS Suite, Estimating Software tools, etc.Ability to review and analyze Request for Tender, drawing specifications, and other documents to prepare costings.High level of negotiation and analytical skills.Capacity to plan and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.Physical ability to conduct site visits where required, sometimes to remote locations.Basic building and demolition knowledge.Construction Awareness Induction Card (White Card).Driver's license (own transportation).Bellaluca Demolition offers a competitive salary (rate depends on experience and knowledge) while working in a supportive and friendly work environment.
