Picton Civil are seeking an organised and motivated Supervisor to join and lead our Demolition and Asbestos removal team. To be the successful candidate, you must have a minimum of 5 years experience in similar roles and be confident in managing Demolition projects within the Southwest Region.
The Opportunity: We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to Supervise all Demolition and Asbestos removal works.
Duties include but are not limited to: Ability to self-manage and oversee projects from start to finish. Time management of projects, driving compliance and strict adherence to the Code of Practice. Be the liaison between the client and on-site working teams. Manage and oversee the preparation of relevant documentation, tools, and equipment required for each job. Drive a quality product delivery and outcome for our clients. Willing to work after hours and on weekends when required. Ensure asbestos removal procedures are followed by all personnel. Ensure that all documents required are maintained and available for auditing purposes. Liaise with WorkSafe WA and other authorities on an ad-hoc basis. Oversee the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment. Liaise daily with the transport Coordinator regarding mobilisations and cartage requirements. Be hands-on with operating site machinery. Skills/Experience required include: 3 years experience in Asbestos Removal is preferred. A current unrestricted Western Australian driver's license is required. Holder of a White Card. Have a strong work ethic and be a reliable team-player. Have a demonstrated and consistent commitment to safety policies and procedures. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail. Good verbal and communication skills with an ability to follow directions. Ability to accurately tender Demolition and Asbestos Removal work will be highly advantageous.
