Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a *Demi Chef* to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.We are seeking a passionate and Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) qualified individual who is driven and focused with a desire to learn and succeed in a culinary/hospitality career. You will have minimum 2 years post apprenticeship experience working in a kitchen team within large restaurants, events, hotels or resorts, to working with a group of like-minded legends. A la carte and buffet experience will be highly regarded, HACCP training is advantageous.*Key Duties ** Undertake all kitchen and service duties including cleaning, food preparation, basic cookery, organisation and guest service;* Understand and follow the running sheets for setting up the different sections for both morning and night service;* Assist in the supervision of junior kitchen staff by providing instruction of duties; and* Assist in the running of sections in the kitchen during the absence of the Chef De Partie.*The Best Part*The highlight of being a *Demi Chef* here is the opportunity to work with a team of experienced chefs who will mentor and guide you in your culinary career.
