About the roleAssists the Chef de Partie to set up the assigned section of the KitchenAssigns responsibilities to team members and supervises performance, coaching and training where necessaryResponsible for checking all incoming food items, ensuring they are stored correctly as per hygiene regulationsEnsures that all mise-en-place for the assigned section is maintained at an appropriate levelEnsures that all food safety and hygiene practices are in placeEnsures consistent supply of quality products and correct quantities to all food outlets within the hotel.QualificationsDesired one year or more work experience as Pastry Commis Chef in a hotel or restaurant with good standardsCompletion of Chef Apprenticeship or equivalentEffective trainer, experienced in the delivery of skills trainingKnowledge and experience in a variety of different cooking methodsThis is your chance to work with exclusive clientele at a luxury hotel like no other.
