Job Description Join Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel as a full-time Demi Chef.
This is a fun and supportive environment in a beautiful hotel offering immediate commencement for Full Time positions 38 hours/ week over a 7 day roster.
Oak & Vine offers a relaxed, communal dining style experience, where delicious share plates are served and best enjoyed with friends and family.
About the role:  Work alongside and supervise kitchen team members  Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served Maintain stock control and ensure all food and other items are stored properly Devise new menu items in consultation with Head Chef Be flexible to work a range of different shifts, including weekends.
Qualifications To be successful you will have: Previous experience in either a hotel or restaurant environment Certificate III cookery qualifications Previous supervisory experience in a kitchen role Be flexible to work a range of different shifts, including weekends.
Be able to work under pressure within a dynamic team environment.
Be self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
