This role investigates, evaluates and resolves customer and stakeholder transactions, enquiries and complaints in accordance with established policies and procedures. The role also provides advice and guidance whilst maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The Demerit Point and Offence Management Officer will participate in team activities, support change initiatives and ensure data compliance and the privacy of sensitive and personal information is maintained by operating within established business rules and in line with relevant legislation.Position AccountabilitiesUnder general supervision, accurately process, investigate and resolve registration and licensing transactions, draft correspondence, provide advice and maintain data and information to assist in decisions in accordance with legislative requirements, established policies and business rules. Escalate identified issues to supervisor as appropriate.Develop and maintain working relationships with customers and stakeholders to progress issues.Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of relevant systems, legislation, work procedures and business rules. Adapt to change and support innovation and business improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and customer service outcomes.Work collaboratively as an effective team member and participate in activities to assist others in meeting team objectives and performance targets.
