As the Program Manager for BaptistCare Stronger Carers Program, you will use a coaching approach to support and empower carers of individuals living with dementia. You will equip carers with the knowledge, skills and resources necessary to maintain their own wellbeing while providing high quality care to their loved ones.
Your service development and leadership skills will be crucial in fostering a culture of best practice, innovation and continuous improvement to ensure that carers are supported whilst caring for their loved ones with Dementia.
This is a Full Time role offering flexible working arrangements and work from home. You will be required to travel around the ACT visiting Carers and their families the majority of your working day. The role is fixed term to June 2026.

Essential qualifications and experience:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Aged Care/Dementia Practice or equivalent qualification, knowledge and experience Experience providing support to, and advice about dementia to people living with dementia, their family and carers Experience with service development, planning and reporting Essential competencies:
Comprehensive knowledge of dementia and its impact on individuals, families, and carers Comprehensive understanding of community aged care services, including dementia-specific and respite services Demonstrated computer literacy and willingness to utilise required software High level communication skills Proven high level organisational abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare's Christian identity and promote the organisation's values through interactions at work Desirable competencies:
Experience working in a community setting. Other Pre-Requisites:
Registered vehicle with minimum of Third Party Insurance Current unrestricted drivers licence About Us:
