With a national presence over the past 30+ years, we operate across various retail channels including grocery, food service, independents, petrol & convenience and route.The RoleAn opportunity has arisen for an experienced Demand & Supply Planner to join the beverage arm of the group.
The role will be responsible for the following:Analyse statistical dataDevelop effective forecast models and solutionsConduct risk assessments and propose solutions to mitigate gapsPropose & implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracySuccessfully communicate forecast & inventory estimationsMonitor & report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets & business strategiesRefresh forecast to meet future product demand rolling 12 to 18 months, including top brands by revenue and volume, wholesale spikes, new & discontinued lines, and lost sales demandPlan on-time supply of product providing agreed safety cover across multiple sites to meet forecast demandPropose purchases, rotating stock to ensure healthy shelf lifePlan and control stocks to meet spike demands, supply to each channel, and promotionsSkills and ExperienceBachelors degree in business, supply chain or other related fields3+ years experience in demand and supply planningSolid knowledge of inventory management practices & proceduresPeople ManagementStrong IT and Excel skillsCapability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
