What You Will Be Doing:In the last 4 years Demand Planning has grown to represent over 50% of Sales.In this role you will take ownership of the Forecast – Order – Replenish - Review cycle for important, top selling Ranges to ensure we maximise Sales and hit Availability targetsPrepare and update weekly forecast dataReview historical sales and stock trends to reconcile variances and improve forward forecast accuracyManage and maintain Stock dynamically to cover promotional and seasonal eventsDetermine order quantities and flow schedule requirementsReview and manage weekly replenishment to the Local Vendor(s)Maintain store minimums and maximums for each SKUProactively communicate Sales Forecasts & Order requirements with the Local Vendor(s) on a weekly basisProvide feedback and suggestions to Departments and the Local Vendor on inventory risks and opportunitiesLead a strong collaborative process among Departments, Retail Ops and the Local Vendor(s)Follow up Orders and Non-Fulfilment of store replenishment with the Local Vendor(s)About YouMust be experienced in Merchandise Planning or Allocation, preferably Retail
Numerical, analytical and inquisitive
Self-starter with high attention to detail and a strong problem solver
Demonstrated experience of strong commercial / retail acumen
Ability to build strong working relationships, but also able to work independently
Ability to present information with confidence to Departments and Local Vendor(s)
Previous experience with SAP, intermediate Excel skills (including v-lookups and pivot tables) is preferred
