About the Role: We are searching for a passionate and energetic Demand Planner to join our growing team! You will play a pivotal role in managing inventory across our portfolio of brands within our categories. Whether it's through analysing data, forecasting, managing purchase orders or ensuring we have optimal inventory health, you will help ensure we source the best range and the most exciting products to continue to inspire our customers!
Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end Inventory lifecycle for all categories from the creation of the purchase order to delivery into the warehouse.Monitor performance analytics & analysis of inventory management.Ensure forecasting, availability and lost sales targets are met through the implementation of regular cadence and the provision of forecasting volume reports.Support the continuous improvement mindset by creating a robust planning function within the organisation.Manage the allocation of merchandise based on planned sales, inventory targets and trading decisions.Manage the product life cycle, focusing on inventory health.Manage the purchases and inventory to deliver stock turn improvement.Review sales and stock continuously in the buy plan, adjusting quantity and timing of purchases to reflect current trends and planned stock positions.Generate weekly and monthly statistical forecast reports, including for promotions and events.Ensure the timely execution of stock deliveries by working closely with suppliers.Challenge the status quo with innovative thinking supported and backed by data.Create and manage product SKU list including but not limited to – uploading descriptions, item details, item attributes directly on to the website.Manage all incoming shipments with freight forwarders, including relevant shipping documentation as required.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.1-3 years of experience in buying, demand planning, or related role.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends, to inform buying decisions and optimise product selection.Proficiency in Excel and inventory management systems.Experience with Inventory Planner, MYOB Advanced & Shopify software is a plus.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks as well as work as part of a team.About You You are passionate. You champion every mission with unwavering enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.Demonstrated experience in vendor and supplier management both locally and with offshore suppliers.Experience in a multi-category/multi-channel environment is highly desirable.Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.Positive attitude with a passion to succeed.Effective time management skills with proven ability to prioritise.Strong financial acumen, reporting and analytical skills.Advanced level Excel skills.High attention to detail with the ability to interpret and action complex information.Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask.Solid data analysis and data management skills.Demonstrated experience working with planning software.Strong stakeholder management including, but not limited to, internal stakeholders, local suppliers, offshore suppliers, forwarding companies.Why Join Us?
