The franchise currently operates in 37 countries with nearly 1,000 stores and has ambitious global growth plans, including a rapid expansion in Australia.Job PurposeThe Demand Planner will be responsible for providing a structured, highly commercial and strategic input to the franchise market's plans activities and performance reviews.
The role plays a critical part in the achievement of the company's objectives.
They will be responsible for the commitment order for the franchise partner.This person will be the main commercial point of contact between the franchise partner and the global organisation to monitor and implement product pricing as well as taking care of logistical and operational aspects so that products are always present at the right time at the right price in the right quantity.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCommercialEnsure implementation of the weekly/monthly/yearly commercial plan for stores based on global guidelines.Ensure the execution of the concept in close collaboration with the local retail teams.Create a proactive and relevant annual Commercial calendar and planning framework.Develop deeper data analytics and reporting to support proactive Trading initiatives in the Retail Team, including deeper understanding in category and price points.Work alongside other partner functional managers to support delivery of business objectives in store Sales, Productivity, Store EBITDA, and Inventory.OrderingMainly responsible for the end-to-end commitment order process.Prepare commitment orders (together with input from other functions and Regional Managers locally).Ensure orders support LFL sales growth and margin targets.Observe campaigns and validate replenishment orders.Assess needs for additional push orders.Manage discrepancies of product orders.Plan and confirm local price adjustments where needed.Implement standardised product lifecycle routines.LogisticsHandle product flow between/to stores to optimise availability and stock holding.Take care of outbound handling.Be the main contact point for Logistics and Commercial Trade.OperationsFollow up on picking mistakes with Logistics.Implement inventory management routines to optimise stock holding and mitigate margin erosion.Demand Planner Core SkillsAbility to analyse costs/margins and report effectively.High levels of Commercial acumen/awareness and attention to detail.Experience interpreting commercial risks and drivers.Experience working through a sales process.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Strong analytical skills and critical thinking to interrogate and analyze information in order to drive financial and business decisions.Operations or business execution experience essential.Personal CharacteristicsFlexible and pragmatic attitude.Ability to connect, build relations and communicate effectively.Ability to engage, motivate and mobilise teams.Great organizational skills and ability to perform and adapt to a high demand, time-sensitive, fast-paced changing environment.Application QuestionsHow many years' experience do you have as a Demand Planner?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Do you have experience with inventory management?Which of the following Microsoft Office products are you experienced with?How many years' experience do you have as a Commercial Planner?#J-18808-Ljbffr
