ABOUT THE ROLEAs the Demand Planner, you will be responsible for assisting the demand forecasting, planning and inventory management for sellable and non-sellable items across the Fragrance and Beauty division.
You will provide demand forecast of new and existing products, during the entire lifecycle through to end of life, for Domestic and Travel Retail.
WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANELYou will bring continuous improvement in forecasting to anticipate seasonality and business trends based on client strategies, marketing priorities, events and promotional activities in close collaboration with Product, Sales, Events, CEM.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?Develop, review, and validate short, mid, and long-term demand forecast for all product types (new, regular, EOL) for all channels through data analysis and market knowledge to enhance forecast accuracy.Continuous improvements of forecasting to anticipate seasonality and business trends based on client strategies, marketing priorities, events, and promotional activities in close collaboration with Product, Sales, Events, CEM.In close collaboration with Marketing, VM and CEM, maintain product assortment of all product types in the forecasting tool.Validate and review open PO's mode of transport and back-orders including the request for additional stock that falls outside of existing forecast on a monthly basis.In consultation with Supply Chain Team, validate monthly purchase plans based on market trends and business needs to ensure KPI's are met (target months of cover, target sea and air freights split).Highlight out-of-stock risk and global supply constraints to relevant stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations to optimise sales opportunities.Build and develop sales analysis (by-month, by-channel, by-category sell in vs sell through, forecast vs budget, YOY growth, seasonality) to assist Sales, Operations, Product and Finance with sales budgeting and category management.WHAT YOU WILL BRINGMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience in areas including but not limited to:
Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Forecasting and Inventory Management.
Retail or FMCG experience preferred.
Experienced in forecasting for a high volume of SKUs across different channels.
Capability to handle multiple systems & an advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, data-driven approach to discover areas of business improvement and drive performance.
Able to work independently and with different teams interchangeably to deliver results.
Empathy and strong communication skills to communicate effectively and maintain good relationships with stakeholders (internal and external).
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
An appreciation for the complexities of the commercial business environment and supply chain functions.
