About the role Reporting to the Senior Business Manager – Commercial Planning & Strategy, the primary focus of this role is to support and manage a robust and transparent monthly demand planning process with the Sales and Commercial Finance teams.
* Incorporate insights from pricing, planning, and sales teams into the demand plan, and manage forecast exceptions and overrides.
* Measure performance (e.g., forecast vs actual, MAPE, bias, stability), identify causal drivers of forecast errors and communicate findings to stakeholders.
* Manage source data, including data cleansing, and ensure accurate recording of all relevant data.
* Drive the consensus process with the sales team to review assumptions, support IBP cycle meetings, and create clear forecast accountability.
* Identify demand/supply discrepancies, analyze long-term forecasts, track daily forecasts vs actuals, and recommend improvements or deletions of product lines.
